FAQ.

Do you accept used helmets?

Yes, absolutely.

We customize both new and used helmets.

We accept all helmets homologated for car and motorcycle racing.

We also offer certain used helmets available in stock. Feel free to contact us if you are looking for a specific model.

How does the payment process work?

The payment is made in two installments.

50% of the total amount is required once the design has been approved by the client.

The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project, after final photos have been sent and before the helmet is shipped back to you.

How does the shipping process work, and what do I need to do?

Once the first payment has been validated, we send you our secure shipping kit, including all the necessary protective materials to safely package your helmet.

A return shipping label is also included. You simply need to drop the parcel off at a post office or relay point — we take care of the rest.

Once we receive your helmet and the project is completed, we send it back to you directly at your address with full tracking information.

The entire shipping process (including tracked shipment of the kit, helmet collection, and return delivery) is charged at a fixed rate of:

  • €37.99 for France (tracked shipping included)

  • €57.99 for Europe (tracked shipping included, customs fees not included)

Can I send you my own design or inspiration?

Yes, absolutely.

You can:

  • send your own ideas,

  • inspirations,

  • logos,

  • racing driver references,

  • or request a custom replica.

We also offer fully bespoke designs created from scratch.

Custom graphic design work is available for €149.

Do you provide a preview before customization?

Yes.

A digital render showing all sides of the helmet is created in order to validate the final design with the client before production.

How many design revisions are possible?

On average, up to 3 rounds of modifications are included to refine the design before final approval.

What type of clear coat do you use?

We use a professional two-component solvent-based automotive clear coat, also used in racing applications, offering:

  • excellent gloss,

  • high durability,

  • and a premium finish.

Special effects can also be applied upon request:

  • matte finish,

  • glitter,

  • custom tints,

  • special visual effects.

Are logos and stickers protected?

Yes.

All logos, markings, and graphic elements are sealed under the clear coat to ensure better durability and a high-end professional finish.

Is the clear coat UV resistant?

Yes.

We typically apply 2 to 3 layers of clear coat to ensure strong protection against:

  • UV exposure,

  • light scratches,

  • and normal wear from use.

Does customization affect helmet safety or homologation?

No.

The methods and products used are compatible with motorsport helmets and do not affect safety or homologation when properly applied.

Do you offer helmet repairs?

No.

Although we regularly work on used helmets, we do not provide structural helmet repair services.

What are the average lead times?

The average turnaround time is approximately one week, depending on the season and workshop workload.

Will I receive progress photos during the process?

Yes, upon request.

We can provide progress photos throughout the customization process.

How should I maintain a custom helmet?

We recommend:

  • using a microfiber cloth,

  • and standard automotive polish suitable for clear coats.

Avoid aggressive cleaning products or unsuitable solvents.

Can a helmet be re-customized later?

Yes, absolutely.

Upon request, we can rework an already customized helmet and apply a new design without affecting its safety or homologation.
